Operation Christmas Child is organized by Samaritan's Purse, which is an international nondenominational evangelical Christian organization. Every year around the Christmas season, thousands of shoeboxes filled with little gifts are packed by people all over the world, and shipped to third world countries where they are given to children of all ages. One shoebox can give a child countless hours of entertainment and the feeling that someone out there really cares for them.
We would like to encourage everyone to pack a shoebox; to take a few hours out of their busy schedules and lives to put together something special for a child in need. We ARE NOT paid by Samaritan's Purse to promote this operation. This event means alot to us personally, and it has encouraged us to organize our own OCC campaign. SO HERE IS OUR MISSION FOR YOU: MISSION MUNNY
Mission Objective:We want YOU to pack THE BEST shoebox that anyone has ever seen.

For all you SHINee Shawol fans, we're sure you recognize that munny design from SHINee's "Hello" music video. For all you Big Bang VIPs, you might recognize this munny from TOP's "Turn it Up" music video. Pack the best box, and you could win munnies like these, or of any design of your choice. The munnies will be customized by the organizers of Mission Munny.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN WIN!
Instructions:
1) Grab a shoebox. It can be any regular shoebox with a lid. If you don't have a shoebox, local schools, churches and grocery stores like Safeway give out OCC boxes. All you have to do is fold it up.
2) Choose the gender and age group that you want to pack for. You have a choice of packing a shoebox for a boy, or a girl with the age groups 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Make sure you label the lid of your box; download the label by clicking HERE
3) Pack the box. Not a quarter, not half way, but A FULL BOX. Fill it with the personal hygiene products (ie. Toothbrushes, soap bars, wash cloths, brushes, hair accessories), stationary (ie. notebooks, pencils, pencil crayons, sharpners, markers, coloring books), and toys (ie. Hotwheel cars, yoyos, stuffed animals, Rubix Cubes). You can also include a small note in your box for your child, to make it really special. Make sure you fill the box according to your age group and gender!

NOTE: We are judging the boxes for creativity and effort. Example: Don't just put a regular toothbrush; put in a Pixar/Disney toothbrush. Don't just put in a dull notebook; put in a brightly colored, sparkly notebook. Don't just put in a regular pen; put in a pen that has feathers/flowers attached to the top. MAKE YOUR BOX STAND OUT!
4) Decorate your box. A regular shoebox is boring. Make it bright, colorful and wild. So that the child is even excited about the box, not just the contents inside of it! Remember; we are judging your creativity and effort.
5) Take a picture of your finished box. This picture is what we'll be judging with, in order for you to win your customized munny.
We also need you to take a picture of your box at the drop-off location, to make sure that you actually sent in your box.
6) Put $7 shipping fee and seal the box.
7) Drop off your box between NOVEMBER 15-21,2010. Local schools, churches and grocery stores like Safeway are common drop-off locations. If you are not sure where the closest drop off location is, click HERE.
8) TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR BOX AT THE DROP-OFF LOCATION. Otherwise, you will not be eligiable to win a munny.
8) Send in both pictures to our email: occmissionmunny@gmail.com by November 24, 2010 11:59PM MST. Include your name, gender, age, and country. NO LATE ENTRIES. A confirmation email will be sent to you, once we have received your entry.
Winners will be announced 1-2 weeks after the picture submission deadline.
